The cafe is noted for its diverse menu options including vegan dishes, with standout items like empanadas, burritos, and a variety of specialty drinks such as oat milk coffees and floral-inspired lattes. While the coffee quality generally receives positive remarks, some customers find it moderately above average. The venue itself shows signs of aging but remains well-maintained by the current proprietors. Overall, patrons appreciate the combination of good food, carefully crafted beverages, and a relaxed, friendly environment, making it a favored local spot open even during public holidays.
Went last weekend. Very tasty food. Empanadas were great. Cafe itself has been many different things over the years and is starting to show its age. But the current proprietors are doing their best. Very good oat milk based drinks. Huge coffees.
We have a different opinion and found the coffee was just above the average and the food (empanadas) was ok (fillings were better than pasty part).
The coffee cake is superb, and the cappuccino is a delight, perfectly crafted. The burritos are well-prepared and delicious. What truly sets this café apart are the wonderful hosts, Oscar and Karina, who create a welcoming atmosphere. They genuinely care about their customers' experience, ensuring every visit is pleasant. The charming and relaxed ambiance makes it a true gem. The vegan burger is also fantastic—highly recommended!
This vegan restaurant was by far the best I've ever eaten in. I wanted to try everything but as I had to decide, I chose a Buddha Bowl and my friends tried the burritos. All of them were delicious! We had Hot Chocolate, Matcha Latte and the Mochaccino. Sooo good We had a nice talk with the owners and the food did not take long till it was ready.
We came back today and tried the Sakura latte - it’s a great treat if you enjoy floral tones and a beautiful drink. Nice local cafe with good quality food and excellent coffee. The cafe is open throughout the entire holiday break, public holidays too.
This cafe made me realize how rich and nutty oat milk can be. Perfect spot to grab a warm cup of coffee on a rainy day
¡Muy bien! Such a lovely little vegan cafe. Food was great and the coffee was delicious, including the oat milk they make themselves. Highly recommend!
Small and cosy cafe with friendly staff and great food. Tastes amazing! Definitely one of the best vegan food available in Christchurch. We will be there again
